Can you captivate Dutch audiences with our high-quality content? Do you do this through cross-media campaigns, using digital marketing—within the limits of non-commercial use—to reach our target audiences online as well? Then this is the perfect job for you! Watch the job video here.
As a marketing communications manager, you will develop radio, television, and online campaigns that reinforce and expand the value propositions and reach of all public broadcasters’ content across our channels and platforms. Together with our agencies and internal colleagues, you will create cross-media campaigns that resonate with our audience and inspire action. In this way, you will increase the visibility of our channels and brands and drive more engagement with the rich content of public broadcasting in today’s crowded media landscape—on TV, radio, and our digital platforms NPO Start and NPO Luister. Together with the Audio and Video marketing strategists, you will be responsible for our entire marketing communication strategy and its translation into an ambitious and achievable campaign calendar. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day marketing activities for the two brands: 3FM and FUNX. We are looking for someone who relates to and identifies with the target audience and knows how to reach a younger audience.
As a marketing communications manager, you naturally possess above-average communication skills. You are a team player and a connector, able to adapt quickly in a complex environment, and have a good sense of internal dynamics. You know how to translate marketing jargon into clear and effective language for colleagues outside your team. You bring creative ideas to the table and have a keen interest in current and emerging media and formats. You stay well-informed and are, of course, familiar with our brand portfolio in the areas of radio, television, online, and on-demand.
You see all kinds of opportunities for the NPO to make it even more accessible to everyone in the Netherlands and to translate the values of public broadcasting into unique selling points.
As a marketing communications manager, you will work in the Marketing Department, whose goal is to encourage the public to watch, listen to, or use public broadcasting content. We aim to build a connection with the public to maximize the personal and societal impact of the broadcasters’ media offerings. In the field of marketing, we serve as the center of expertise for channel, genre, and programming teams, broadcasters, and the various teams within the Audience & Marketing division.
The Marketing Department consists of two sub-teams: Marketing Communications and Continuity & Promotion (C&P). The other departments within the Audience & Marketing Division are Audience Research and Corporate Communications. As Marketing Communications Manager, you will report to the Marketing Manager.
The position of Marketing Communications Manageris a full-time role (36 hours per week). You will receive a one-year contract, and the salary ranges from €3,651 to €5,742 gross per month based on a 36-hour workweek.
