Five teams, one vision

Within the Housing Department, you will lead five teams: Project Development, Asset Management, Operations & Maintenance, Controllers, and Real Estate Information. Together, they manage and develop our growing real estate portfolio. The teams are committed to maintaining the housing stock as efficiently as possible and adapting homes to changing housing needs, such as those driven by an aging population and an increasing number of single-person households. We also take our responsibility in the energy transition seriously and see this as an opportunity to address the challenges it presents. We have already made significant strides toward achieving an average energy label of A, but there is still plenty of work to be done.

Building relationships and negotiating with external partners

You play a key role in fostering connections both externally and internally. Externally, you work closely with municipalities and our construction and development partners. You prioritize substance over form, driven by a genuine desire to connect and build lasting partnerships, and you excel as a strategic advisor and negotiator.

A decisive management team

Internally, you’re a team player on the Management Team. We’re open to discussing difficult issues, because it’s precisely by challenging one another, showing courage, and looking beyond our own departments that we become stronger in pursuing our goals. With a curious, open, and optimistic attitude, you contribute to that overall effort. You represent the people behind the project, as well as the financial and practical interests of Wooncompagnie, and you’re not afraid to be straightforward when the situation calls for it.

Helping your teams grow

Within your teams of 40 experienced professionals, the focus is on facilitating and supporting. In recent years, the Housing division has made significant strides in the areas of cohesion and information management. The teams are accountable for results, and as Housing Manager, you have the important task of further driving this momentum and guiding talented colleagues in their growth and development. You proactively coach your team members in results- and area-oriented work, and you motivate and inspire them with clarity and a driven, positive attitude.

What do you have to offer?

Do you feel at home with us as a Housing Manager? If so, we hope you bring the following to the table:

• You are a natural team player with experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including municipalities, construction partners, and other organizations
• You have extensive experience in property management, real estate development, or a related field, with a broad understanding of the housing sector
• You have the ability to lead (and teach others to lead) teams that operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results
• You're not afraid to make tough decisions and provide guidance when it's needed
• You have a college-level or university-level level of thinking and working
• And, of course, you have a good sense of the social impact of your work, including the practical and financial feasibility of projects

• The position is classified under pay scale N of the Housing Services Collective Bargaining Agreement, with an initial salary range of €5,927 to €9,264 gross per month for a 36-hour workweek (salary placement based on your knowledge and experience)
