About CBF 

The CBF, the Charity Oversight Authority, is a development-oriented regulator for nonprofit organizations. We serve the public, as well as municipalities and charities. We grant Accreditation to charities that meet strict quality standards and monitor whether they continue to meet them. In addition, we share public data on Accredited Charities and serve as a resource for anyone who wants to learn more about charities. We contribute to the development of the sector by sharing our insights and expertise. 

The Role 

As a Supervision Manager, you will lead a team of 10 auditors in overseeing more than 700 charities and several donation platforms. You share our vision of development-oriented and principle-based supervision. You are able to work in a self-regulated sector and understand the implications of doing so. We are currently in the process of further developing risk-based supervision. You know how to implement this new approach and guide the team through it. 

You are a member of the Management Team, contribute to shaping the organization’s strategic direction, and promote cross-departmental collaboration.

What do you bring to the table? 

  • HBO+/university level of work and thinking; 
  • Management experience; 
  • Social and political sensitivity; 
  • A warm, supportive leadership style that values both professional excellence and well-being; 
  • Experience with another regulatory authority is a plus;
  • An affinity for the charitable sector.

  • A competitive salary ranging from $4,884.98 to $6,977.88 gross per month (depending on skill level and experience), based on a full-time position of 36 hours per week.
