As a manager, you support the professionals on your team in carrying out their work. You provide direction through a vision-driven approach and help the team organize effectively and deliver high-quality results. You also help shape the organization’s development and the Amersfoort transformation initiative. Based on this, you will further develop area-based working in collaboration with your team and the network partners in the neighborhood.

The Social Neighborhood Teams Foundation plays a central role in Amersfoort’s social sector. With over 180 neighborhood team staff members, we provide care and support close to the city’s residents. The neighborhood team’s mission consists of: clarifying needs, providing support and guidance, and coordinating services. Together with a network of organizations, we strengthen the neighborhoods. In doing so, we are always looking for ways to improve and innovate our services. We do this through dialogue with residents, among professionals, and with external partners.
Together with eight fellow managers, you will be responsible for managing staff, initiating and implementing new policies, and coordinating strategic collaboration with the municipality of Amersfoort.
The Amersfoort Neighborhood Team is offering a one-year contract with the intention of converting it to a permanent position.
Your salary depends on your education and experience and, according to Scale 11 of the Social Work Collective Bargaining Agreement, ranges from a minimum of €3,915 to a maximum of €6,079 gross per month based on full-time employment (36 hours). A reclassification of the position to Scale 12 (max. €6,750) is currently under consideration. In addition to your monthly salary, you will have an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) worth approximately 19% of your annual salary (including vacation pay and year-end bonus). You can use this budget for various purposes, including leave.
