
Many consider the Royal Carré Theatre to be the most beautiful theatre in the Netherlands. The theatre is known for its diverse programming of national and international theatre productions of the highest caliber. With every conceivable theatre genre, from circus to cabaret and from pop concerts to opera, Carré offers a unique theatrical experience for everyone. For over 136 years, 400,000 visitors have made their way to the famous theater on the Amstel every year to experience the magic of Carré. The Service & Support Department is part of the operational team responsible for the visitor experience at performances. Together, the Service & Support team handles visitor interactions via email, phone, and at the box office before the performance begins. In addition, the Service & Support Department assists the Business and Ticketing departments with various administrative tasks and projects.
As Service & Support Manager, you are an inspiring leader for the team. You create the schedule, assign daily tasks, monitor the schedule, and make adjustments as needed. In addition, you maintain contact with various departments and ensure optimal service delivery, both internally and externally. You are also responsible for the coaching and development of all team members. Finally, you’ll look for ways to continuously improve processes and systems. In this way, you’ll contribute to the professionalization of the department and elevate the theater experience for our guests.
You have several years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a department where you have worked with visitors or guests. Experience with Salesforce and Ticketmatic is a plus.
