Do you think it’s important for young people to always have somewhere to turn when they’re worried? Would you like to help create a safe space where young people between the ages of 12 and 25 can share their stories without any pressure? At @ease, we’re here for them! Whether it’s heartbreak, stress at school, worries at home, or mental health—anyone can talk or chat with us for free and anonymously. No young person should have to face life’s challenges alone when things aren’t going well. And with your help as a Quality Manager, we can do this even better!

@ease is growing rapidly, and we are expanding our national coverage. We are therefore looking for a Quality Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for professionalizing the quality policy within @ease. You will work closely with the board and the director, and you will be part of the management team. Your focus will be on monitoring our methodology, improving and standardizing our processes, and supporting our 12 locations while preserving the unique identity of each location.

What are you going to do?

  • In terms of your role, you are responsible for quality at @ease at both the strategic and operational levels. You serve as the point of contact, translate objectives into concrete actions, and carry them out in collaboration with your team.
  • Ensuring consistent implementation of the @ease methodology. You will support and facilitate our 12 locations based on the growth model and ensure consistent implementation of our approach. The quarterly report provides an opportunity to identify issues, discuss them, and report on them.
  • Coordinating and organizing training sessions for volunteers and professionals. You will streamline the organization of our training sessions to ensure they are optimally aligned with the ongoing influx of volunteers and professionals. You will work closely with the trainers to critically evaluate the content and ensure that knowledge and training materials are documented in a sustainable manner.
  • As a substantive sparring partner, you will work closely with the board and the director of @ease. You will serve as a sounding board and advisor on quality issues and related policy development.
  • As a member of the Executive Team, you will contribute to the strategic development of @ease and, together with other Executive Team members, help strengthen our shared vision.
  • You lead a small team of professionals and know how to motivate and inspire them to prioritize the overall quality of @ease.

Who are you?

We are looking for an analytical and proactive quality manager with experience as a social worker. You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a social work-related field and a network in the healthcare or nonprofit sector. You know how to ensure and improve the quality of services and methodologies. In addition, your communication skills—both verbal and written—are excellent, and you can adapt to all levels. Experience with leadership and process optimization is a plus.

And also:

  • A completed relevant associate's or bachelor's degree;
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of quality management and experience in process improvement;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with different levels within the organization;
  • Flexible, solution-oriented, and you enjoy working together toward a common goal.
  • You have an interest in social, psychological, and societal issues, and you have experience leading teams.

What do we offer you?

  • A job that makes a difference: your work truly helps young people move forward.
  • The opportunity to help shape a growing organization.
  • One-year contract based on a 36-hour workweek.
  • A salary in pay grade 11 and competitive benefits in accordance with the Social Work W&MD Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Hybrid work, where you are on-site in the Utrecht area two days a week.

Interested? Send your cover letter and resume to jobs@ease.nl, addressed to Sophie. Do you have any questions? Feel free to contact us at jobs@ease.nl. We look forward to hearing from you!
