We are looking for an HRM, Pedagogy & Quality Manager for Kinderopvang Morgen! We’re seeking an energetic and passionate individual who wants to help build a future where all children can reach their full potential.
Morgen is a nonprofit social organization. We want the best childcare to be accessible to every child, no matter who you are or where you come from. “Morgen has a strong educational vision for children’s development. After all, no child can relive their childhood. That is why Morgen works with heart, mind, and hands to promote equal opportunities and inclusivity. For a future in which all children can develop to their fullest potential!” That is what inspires us and is reflected in our name: “Kinderopvang Morgen.”
About Morgen:
Morgen is a leading mid-sized umbrella organization with various childcare brands and integrated child centers. We have a total of 40 locations in The Hague-Ypenburg, Rijswijk, Delft, and Westland-Wateringen. We are a strong organization that, thanks to our extensive expertise and partnerships, cares for 3,500 children per week, yet we are small enough to maintain close ties with our 450 employees.
Our brands each have their own identity and approach, and they all contribute something unique to the whole. The service center in Rijswijk is responsible for, among other things, embedding our quality standards within Morgen, managing HR matters, and supporting the continuous development of our employees through educational support and training programs offered by our own Morgen Academy. We share knowledge and expertise with one another, because we believe that we achieve better results together than we do alone.
We are looking for:
- A professional with an eye toward the future. Someone who can turn goals into concrete actions, stays grounded in the here and now, and has the courage to ask the right critical questions—with a curious mindset—about people, numbers, processes, plans, and systems.
- An authentic individual with substantive expertise and strong communication skills. Someone who can build connections throughout the organization by showing genuine concern for others. Someone who serves as a valuable discussion partner for the works council and our external stakeholders, such as local governments and educational institutions.
- A true team player who keeps Morgen’s HRM vision, educational vision, and quality policy firmly in mind, translates them into concrete, multi-year strategic objectives, and provides guidance based on these objectives.
- A strategist with a strong focus on HRM; someone who understands that, in the context of the future, attracting, engaging, training, and retaining top talent will be a priority in the coming years.
- Who recognizes the importance of pedagogy and quality in providing equal opportunities for “our” children and their parents. And who integrates quality, health, and pedagogical safety into everything we do.
- A coaching manager who inspires and guides approximately 20 staff members with specialized expertise within the self-managing teams, helping them grow through their daily work!
- A complementary member of the Management Team who adds value to the team through your background, knowledge, and experience in HRM, Education, and Quality. In addition to you, the Management Team consists of the CEO/Director, the Primary Process Manager, and the Operations Manager.
What are we looking for?
- You will be able to—together with a highly motivated management team—contribute to Morgen’s vision;
- You are optimistic, inspiring, a team player, and a strong communicator, and you have the drive and skills to inspire your colleagues to follow your lead;
- You have extensive knowledge and experience in the broad field of HRM, as well as knowledge and/or experience in the areas of Education and Quality.
- You are self-reflective, have an inquisitive mindset, and bring energy and a sense of humor to the table;
- Of course, you have an academic level of work and thinking, as well as proven leadership experience;
- Experience in the industry is not required, but it is a plus.
We offer:
- LOL; A culture of open communication characterized by leadership, openness, and courage.
- The value you bring to a social environment that is of great importance to children!
- Opportunities for growth: just as we help children grow, we do the same for ourselves. We’re happy to work with you to ensure you can continue to get the most out of yourself and keep growing
- A full-time contract for 36 hours per week. Initially, a one-year temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent contract thereafter.
- FiscFree: tax-advantaged purchase of a bicycle, laptop, or phone.
- Travel expense reimbursement and a discount on childcare costs for your own child(ren); of course, we’ll do our best to give your children priority placement at our childcare centers.
- Salary scale according to the Childcare Collective Bargaining Agreement, scale 12: for full-time employment, a minimum of €4,093.00 and a maximum of €5,581.00, plus a year-end bonus of 3%.
