Food and Beverage & Sales Manager

Kunstmin is the premier theater in Dordrecht and the surrounding region. With approximately 300 performances, concerts, and events each year, we serve as a vibrant hub for audiences, artists, and partners. Together, our Schouwburg and Energiehuis create a versatile and inspiring environment where art, hospitality, and experience come together. 

What will you be doing?

As the Hospitality & Sales Manager, you will lead an enthusiastic team consisting of a sales representative, three duty managers, a pool of hospitality staff, and a dedicated group of audience guides (volunteers). Together, you will ensure a warm welcome and the best possible experience for our audience and our business partners. 

• You will lead your team and strive for the highest possible quality in all aspects of performances and events. 
• You approach hospitality in a modern and creative way. 
• You identify and create business opportunities and know how to capitalize on them, including through events, sales, and sponsorship. 
• Thanks to your efforts, our Business Friends Network is growing. 
• You will build and maintain a broad network, including through your presence at trade shows and events. 
• You will be responsible for stage management at performances and events. 
• As a member of the Executive Team, you will actively contribute to organization-wide policy and strategy. 

Who are you?

We’re eager to see what you have to offer. You naturally combine leadership with a business-minded approach and a strong sense of hospitality. You switch effortlessly between interacting with visitors, business clients, and partners, and always keep a clear overview of the situation. 

• You have several years of experience in a management role, preferably in the food service, sales, or hospitality industry. 
• You have strong analytical and numerical skills and contribute strategic insights. 
• You have a certificate in First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety, or you are willing to obtain one soon. 
• You are flexible and available to work evenings and weekends as well.
