What will you be doing?  

As Facilities Manager, you will work together with your

teams ensure that all necessary facilities are in place so that the Fire and Rescue & Safety Region

Amsterdam-Amstelland can perform its work to the best of its ability. You will lead and

team leaders of the Resources, Facilities, and Engineering teams. It’s up to you to

translate the development our organization is currently undergoing into your

department!

In practical terms, this means

  • Developing and implementing a mission and vision

    for the Facilities Department that align with the strategic goals of the

    Safety Region.

  • You will manage three team leaders and be responsible for

    in promoting cooperation and engagement.

  • You are able to create a safe, inspiring, and

  • Together with your three team leaders, you will ensure that

    FB's services with the rest of the organization.

You'll recognize yourself in this 

  • You must have at least an associate's degree, preferably in

    the field of Engineering and/or Facility Management

  • You have extensive experience in a leadership role within a

    large organization

  • You have knowledge and experience with

    change initiatives

  • Knowledge of procurement processes is a plus

  • Salary in pay grade 14 ranging from €6,033 to €8,272 per

    per month, based on a 36-hour workweek.

  • A 36-hour-a-week job
  • An individual choice budget of 18.63% of the

    Gross annual salary.
    This includes a year-end bonus and vacation pay.

  • 187.2 hours of leave based on a 36-hour workweek

    including 32 hours of overtime.

  • A one-year appointment, with the possibility of

    a permanent position.

  • A generous pension from ABP, 70% of which is funded by

    we are paid.

  • The option to work in a hybrid model with a

    a work-from-home allowance of €3 per day.

The Team

Facilities Management (FM) provides advice for the purpose of

of all purchasing and is responsible for all procurement, inventory, and management

related to real estate, vehicles, and equipment for the Amsterdam-Amstelland Fire Department.

FB is located at the Security Center (Galwin 3 in Amsterdam).
