We are critical, open, and constructive, and our motivation is the societal value of our work.

We are currently looking for a new:
As the Sustainable Mobility & Transportation Manager, you and a direct colleague will be responsible for the strategic development of the sector and for supervising 13 content-driven researchers/consultants. In addition, you will leverage your own research skills by leading research and consulting projects. As the Sustainable Mobility & Transport Manager, you will share responsibility for securing sufficient work for the sector. You will do this by conducting business development activities yourself and by guiding colleagues in the preparation of proposals.
The Mobility & Transport team carries out projects in which we advise European and national governments, companies, industry associations, and NGOs on current topics such as: zero-emission transport, vehicle emission standards, the use of non-fossil fuels, the (sustainable) future of aviation and shipping, and sustainable urban mobility. In your role as manager, you will help determine the substantive direction on one or more of these themes and carry out projects related to them. In this context, you will maintain a network of external experts (scientists and researchers) and clients.
As a manager, you will also be part of CE Delft’s management team. This team currently consists of ten people (the managers of the other sectors and two members of the executive board). In this role, you will actively contribute to strategic and organization-wide issues.
CE Delft offers an informal, pleasant, and non-hierarchical work environment. You’ll be working with a team of knowledgeable, skilled, and motivated colleagues who are passionate about their work. Our work is often multidisciplinary, so you’ll frequently collaborate with experts both within and outside CE Delft.
We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits, including flexible working hours, the option to take vacation and holidays on flexible dates, free lunch, part-time work, and the ability to work from home. As part of your research responsibilities, you’ll have considerable freedom to develop in a direction that suits you.
