When you think of a library, you think of books. But walk into any branch of the Eemland Library these days, and you’re sure to be surprised. Not just by the wide variety of visitors—because we’re literally here for everyone—but also by the different kinds of activities we organize. From the DigiTaalhuis, where people can practice language and digital skills, to projects we undertake with schools. From an educational escape room to an inspiring lecture with an author. The library is a place where you can meet others, where you’ll find inspiration, and where there’s plenty of room for growth. It’s an organization staffed by enthusiastic colleagues brimming with great ideas. It’s a place where we work hard, but there’s also time for a friendly cup of coffee. That’s what makes working at the Eemland Library so much fun!
And… of course, we also have a large collection of books for those who want to escape into another world or learn something new. Relax, meet people, grow, and discover—that’s what the Library is all about!
