We are working tirelessly to build an ecosystem where an impact-driven economy is the norm. Because we believe that solving social problems can—and must—be done differently and better.
Social Finance NL helps organizations measure, finance, and scale their social impact. Our approach centers on social value and impact for the target group. We build partnerships around these goals, monitor and steer our efforts accordingly, and tailor our solutions to meet these needs. In this way, we create new and sustainable financing opportunities that serve as a catalyst for effective solutions to social challenges. To achieve this, we collaborate with governments, financiers, and social entrepreneurs.
Data & Digital
This year, we are launching Data & Digital, a new focus area for Social Finance NL. In collaboration with our international colleagues at Social Finance UK, where a successful Data & Digital team has been built up in recent years, we see a tremendous opportunity to increase our impact in the coming years while leveraging 21st-century tools. We are therefore also committed to building a team that actively collaborates with the team in London and makes an impact in the Netherlands, the EU, and in the field of development cooperation.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who wants to help us build our Data & Digital team. You will start by working on projects in collaboration with Social Finance UK, and you will have the opportunity to build a team and develop new projects from the Netherlands. You must possess the following competencies and skills:
What does a typical day look like?
We have a very flexible work setup, and as part of the Data & Digital team, you’ll also collaborate frequently with our colleagues in London. On Mondays, we often gather at the office to kick off the week together. The rest of the week, you’ll work flexibly from home, the office, or while visiting clients, depending on your preferences. One moment you’re working with municipalities on a model to predict healthcare usage for their residents; the next, you’re meeting with the head of a major fund to discuss a new investment proposal, and then you’re calling a young person to check in on how things are going in their new job. You’re both the connector and the analyst. You organize your days flexibly: sometimes you work a few hours from home, put in a longer day, or have to do some work in the evening. But you’re just as happy to grab a drink with colleagues on a sunny day if your schedule allows.
Who are you?
You have a university-level education and have previously held a managerial or
project management position. You are fully committed to helping build a new team within a young organization. You have already gained experience in a competitive environment and are looking for a job where you can make a difference for a variety of target groups, such as homeless youth, older job seekers, or refugees.
You enjoy taking the lead on complex projects. You’re a problem-solver who uses your interpersonal skills to get people on board, brings structure to the table, can connect people and organizations, and can quickly switch between different projects
Experience in government, social enterprise, or consulting (in the public sector) is a plus; an interest in impact investing, the public sector, and/or social entrepreneurship is an absolute must.
What’s in it for you?
