The Dutch Patient Federation represents more than 200 patient organizations. We advocate for all people who need healthcare. Thanks to our members, the reviews on ZorgkaartNederland, the information on DigitaleZorgGids, the experiences shared on Mijnkwaliteitvanleven.nl, and the input from more than 23,000 Healthcare Panel members, and the questions regarding the National Healthcare Number, the Dutch Patient Federation knows what patients think is going well and what could be improved. With that knowledge, the federation, together with its members, influences policy within the healthcare sector. And the Dutch Patient Federation gives a voice to everyone who needs care now or in the future: in the doctor’s office and in politics, with health insurance providers, and in the news.
Our organization in Utrecht employs approximately 75 people. The Patient Federation is looking for a strong, experienced, and inspiring

The team provides advice on strategic issues and supports various themes, projects, and programs. The topics they address are wide-ranging. Job OpeningWe are offering a wonderful and challenging position in a
dynamic organization with passionate people. In this role, you’ll be at the heart
of healthcare and will be able to make a real difference. In the coming years,
many developments are expected in the healthcare sector, in which the Dutch
Patients’ Federation will play an important role—and you will play a meaningful
role as well.
We also offer flexibility in working hours. So this isn’t a job where you necessarily work strictly “from 9 to 5.” We work partly at the office in Utrecht and partly from home.
This is a permanent position, and you will start with a one-year employment contract. If you perform well in the role and demonstrate that you are a good fit, your appointment will be converted to a permanent contract.
Depending on education and experience, the salary is a maximum of €6,628.00 gross per month for a 36-hour workweek (Collective Bargaining Agreement for Social Work, scale 13).
The Dutch Patient Federation offers good employment conditions, including an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) and a career budget. The IKB provides you with a budget that you can use as you see fit—either to have it paid out or, for example, to purchase additional leave hours. You will also receive a work-from-home allowance and, if applicable, reimbursement for the costs of your commute.
The Social Work Collective Bargaining Agreement is followed. Based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement, you are a member of the Healthcare and Welfare Pension Fund.
