We explicitly work from a recovery-oriented perspective. From a medical standpoint, the focus is on reducing symptoms and complaints. From the client’s perspective, it involves unique personal processes in which clients try to get back on track, regain control, and give their lives new meaning and direction. In doing so, we focus on the client’s capabilities while respecting their limitations. “Expertise through collaboration” is our guiding principle. This means working together with our clients, their loved ones, and their care providers.
