Production Planning Manager

The Business Office is responsible for all aspects of CROW’s operations. In addition to financial and administrative management, this role contributes to the professional governance of the organization in the context of the societal mission CROW is committed to. CROW employs highly independent professionals who, in order to be successful, have a high degree of freedom to carry out their work autonomously. From an operational perspective, this requires an approach based on collaboration and a deep understanding of the dynamics of the sector in which CROW operates. The Operations Department has undergone a significant professionalization process in recent years. To further advance this process, we are seeking anOperations Manager.

What will you be doing?

As a Planning and Coordination Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 20 colleagues with diverse backgrounds, experience, and areas of expertise working in the areas of finance, control, payroll administration, course administration, customer service, and secretarial support. These professionals are accustomed to working independently and primarily require a supportive leadership style. You will also be a member of the Management Team.

We can divide your responsibilities into three main areas:

People Management

• You will oversee the various departments and ensure that employees are able to do their jobs effectively.
• You focus on talent management and facilitating employee development.
• You will be responsible for ensuring communication between the planning department and the rest of the organization.

Administrative organization

• You will monitor and improve administrative processes.
• You will contribute to the implementation and further development of financial and management information systems.

Strategy and Policy

• As a member of the Executive Team, you will help develop and implement strategic policies.
• You will provide advice on financial policy and related administrative processes.
• You ensure that decisions made by the executive board/management team comply with laws and regulations.

What do we expect from you?

For this position, we are looking for a business manager with a passion for people. You should also bring the following to the table:

• At least 5 years of experience as a head of operations or financial manager in the public and private sectors.
• Experience with facilitative and coaching leadership.
• Knowledge of and experience with taxation and VAT.
• The ability to maintain an overview, see the bigger picture, and seek connections.
• An analytical perspective and a pragmatic approach.

• Full-time position, with the option to work part-time (32–40 hours);
• Salary between €5,204 and €8,096 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek;

• a personal benefit budget consisting of 6 (out of 12) ADV days, a year-end bonus of 6.25%, and vacation pay of 8%;
• non-contributory pension accrual;
