A new group of trainees will start in January 2026. The group consists mainly of internal candidates, but this year we are also making a number of spots available to external candidates.
As a trainee, you must be available for at least 32 hours per week; of these 32 hours, you will spend at least 24 hours managing one or more teams. The remaining hours will be spent attending training sessions, working on assignments, and participating in trainee-related activities.
During the management traineeship, you’ll combine work and learning, take your first steps in the field of management, and strengthen your personal leadership skills. After a year, you’ll be fully prepared for the next step in your career and will be able to confidently apply for a position as a team manager at Cordaan!
During the traineeship, you will learn about and work on:
We are offering you a wonderful opportunity to grow personally and professionally over the course of a year within a vibrant organization that aspires to be the best healthcare provider and employer in Amsterdam and the surrounding area. The terms of employment for this position are in accordance with the VVT collective bargaining agreement.
Please note: Completing the traineeship does not guarantee a position as a team manager at Cordaan. However, you will have a significant advantage in the internal hiring process. If you do not secure a position at Cordaan after completing the traineeship, your one-year contract will automatically expire.
We tailor the program to your personal development: while some trainees take on leadership roles from day one, others spend the first few months shadowing their mentor.
