
The Ante Foundation is seeking amember of its supervisory board with ties to Zeewolde—Profile: “HRM and Labor Law”
The Ante Foundation is the public education foundation for elementary schools in the municipalities of Dronten and Zeewolde and comprises 12 schools. It is still a young foundation, as the Zeewolde Public Elementary Education Foundation and Spilbasisscholen Dronten merged on August 1, 2018, to form Ante.
Ante’s vision and mission is “To provide innovative, meaningful, and talent-focused education so that children can apply and develop their talents with the goal of being ready for the next phase of their lives.” We look ahead and focus on adapting to changing circumstances in life and learning.
The Ante Foundation has an independent board of directors and a supervisory board. The Ante supervisory board is tasked with reviewing the policies implemented within the foundation, as prescribed by the articles of incorporation and by law. The Ante supervisory board also acts as the employer of the executive board and serves as a sounding board for the executive board.
The supervisory board consists of representatives from both the municipalities of Dronten and Zeewolde; its membership is diverse, and it has a broad network in Dronten and Zeewolde. In addition, the supervisory board is very familiar with the region. The individual members contribute to the expertise of the supervisory board as a whole, namely in the areas of education, finance, governance and oversight, HRM/legal affairs, and real estate. The supervisory board consists of a maximum of 5 members.
The allocation of responsibilities within the Supervisory Board is determined based on the members’ expertise and qualifications. The aim is to compose the Supervisory Board in such a way that at least the following areas of expertise are represented: educational quality and innovation, financial and economic management, risk management and treasury, communication and positioning, legal affairs and strategic HR policy, political and administrative relations at the regional level, and housing.
As of October 1, 2023, a new Supervisory Board has been formed, and we are still looking for a new member with a background in HRM/labor law who has ties to Zeewolde.
The new member of the Supervisory Board with a human resources background will work alongside the chair of the Supervisory Board on human resources matters.
To this end, a Remuneration Committee has been established within the Supervisory Board. The Remuneration Committee has the following responsibilities:
