This position is being filled upon the recommendation of the Joint Participation Council (GMR). Due to the diversity of the student population, we strive for representation across all levels of the organization. The Supervisory Board will receive advice on this matter from an Appointments Advisory Committee (BAC) comprising members of the Supervisory Board, the Executive Board, and the General Student Council.

About Leonardo da Vinci

The Leonardo da Vinci School Group is a public school group in the city of Leiden consisting of four schools: Da Vinci College Kagerstraat, Da Vinci College Lammenschans, Leonardo College, and Da Vinci College ISK/DCC (International Transition Class/Da Vinci City College). Together, the schools provide education ranging from VMBO to VWO, including Technasium, elite sports programs, and education for newcomers. The school group has a total of over 3,000 students and more than 350 staff members. The school group has a two-member Executive Board (CvB) that functions as the competent authority and consists of two principal-administrators. They directly manage the administrative office and the four schools.

The organization has four core values: equality, freedom, connection, and diversity. It is intentionally a public school system: everyone belongs and is given equal opportunities. It strives to build diverse teams that are representative of the student body. The same applies to the board of trustees.

All schools have an open and welcoming atmosphere that makes students and staff feel at home and enjoy coming to school. Young people are educated to become self-assured global citizens who take responsibility for their choices, actively contribute to their communities, and treat the world with respect. The quality of education, academic results, and graduation rates are strong. For more information about the organization, please visit: www.davinci-leiden.nl
