Books of all kinds teach us about the present, the past, and the future, and can enrich, inspire, and move us. That is why we are looking for a passionate member to join the CPNB’s Supervisory Board.
Sorry for returning this book so late, but I just couldn't put it down.

About the CPNB
The CPNB Foundation is the leading organization working with a wide range of partners to encourage more people to read. The results have been impressive: over the past decade, there has been a clear increase in the number of books sold, peaking in 2022. Reading books inspires, educates, and relaxes children, young people, and adults, thereby fostering greater development, curiosity, and connection. To this end, the CPNB employs a wide range of tools and campaigns targeting children, young people, and adults. From the National Read-Aloud Days and Youth Book Week to Summer Reading and Book Week. To achieve these breakthroughs, the CPNB works for and in collaboration with the collective of three covenant partners—bookstores, publishers, and libraries—as well as with companies and social organizations. The CPNB is led by a single executive director, Eveline Aendekerk. She is supported in her work by the management team and staff (a total of approximately 30 professionals).
Due to changes in governance, we are looking for a

About the Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board currently consists of five members, including the chair. The Supervisory Board exercises comprehensive oversight of the organization’s policies and general affairs. In addition, the Supervisory Board advises the executive director and serves as a sparring partner. This is done in accordance with an appropriate, statutorily defined division of roles between the supervisory body and the director. Until recently, the board (since July 22, 2022, the board has been a Supervisory Board) consisted entirely of representatives from the collective of bookstores, publishers, and libraries. Recently, three independent members have also joined the Supervisory Board, including the independent chair and the new member with a financial background.
In addition to specific competencies, we expect the new member to meet the general profile for members of the Supervisory Board, as outlined below.
