The organization is financially sound and has ambitious goals. Woondiensten Aarwoude has major plans in the areas of sustainability and a significant expansion of its housing stock. The organization (approx. 20 FTE) has been strengthened in recent years to better meet the challenges ahead. The guiding principle for the composition of the Supervisory Board is that it consists of generalists who together form a multidisciplinary team. To ensure comprehensive decision-making, members are needed who have a specific area of expertise but, above all, a broad perspective.
Members are expected to be decisive and results-oriented. They must be able to engage in rigorous discussions in a collegial manner. They must know what to assess and be able to ask the right questions.
In this regard, it is desirable to achieve a certain balance between individuals from the business community and members from the nonprofit sector.
Specifically for the Supervisory Board of the Stichting Woondiensten Aarwoude, the composition of the Board should, as much as possible, reflect the population in the area where Woondiensten Aarwoude operates.
