How you, too, can make a difference

The Members’ Council of the VGZ Cooperative is looking for new, enthusiastic members. As a member, you will advise and challenge the VGZ Board on the direction of our organization and on issues that our members consider important. These might include topics such as “How do we communicate with our members?” and “How do we ensure that you receive quality care from your healthcare provider?” As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to use your unique talents to serve an important social cause. You’ll represent our members and can offer advice based on your ideas and experiences.

As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to put your unique talents to work and help shape the future of healthcare. You’re skilled at representing other groups, and you can use that experience to make a meaningful contribution to our Members’ Council. We listen to one another, work together, and join forces to make the Netherlands a healthier place.

If you can answer "yes" to the questions below, we look forward to receiving your application!

• Are you insured through one of the brands of the VGZ Cooperative(such as VGZ, Univé, UMC, or IZA)?
• Would you like to dedicate yourself to serving our members, patients, and clients?
• Are you a positive person who wants to help us achieve VGZ’s goals?
• Can you see things from someone else’s perspective, listen carefully, and work well with others?

What does this mean:

• You will attend approximately two meetings and three informational sessions per year (usually at the headquarters in Arnhem)
• You will join one of the Members' Council working groups, which prepare substantive reports on various topics. This allows you to make an active contribution based on your personal interests.
• Sometimes you make working visits to the healthcare sector
