Following the merger of the various supervisory boards and the expiration of the terms of the members responsible for cultural affairs at De Nieuwe Kerk | H’ART Museum, two vacancies have arisen for supervisory board members with a national or international cultural background.
De Nieuwe Kerk | H’ART Museum aims to make culture accessible to a wide audience. We believe it is important that our Board of Trustees reflects the diversity of our society. We therefore invite everyone to apply.
When fully staffed, the Supervisory Board consists of seven members. The foundations have a two-person executive board, consisting of a general director and a business director.

Over the next few years, H’ART Museum will be developing exhibitions and educational projects in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the British Museum in London, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington. These include exhibitions on the life and work of Brancusi this year and Matisse in 2026.
De Nieuwe Kerk | H’ART Museum employs approximately 50 staff members and also works with temporary staff for educational activities, guided tours, visitor reception, and our museum shops. The foundations do not receive any regular subsidies. All activities are funded through ticket sales, rentals, sponsors, grants, private donors, and friends of the museum.
