Utrechtzorg is seeking a junior program manager for “Ik Zorg Shop” to help fulfill the important social mission of ensuring an adequate supply of qualified staff. Utrechtzorg is a labor market organization for healthcare and social services in the Utrecht, Amersfoort-Eemland, and Gooi & Vechtstreek regions. Together with 85 employers, we are committed to a healthy regional labor market for healthcare and welfare and contribute to new forms of organization and transitions in the workplace. Do you have experience as a project leader and would you like to develop further into a change manager? Then this is the job for you.

What is the Ik Zorg Shop?

The Ik Zorg Shop (IZS) is a physical location. Here, trainers, career coaches, and healthcare and welfare organizations collaborate on a creative approach to recruiting, training, and hiring people in the sector. We operate based on two principles: “Refer instead of reject” and “The person, not the resume, is at the heart of the process.” Through the IZS program, we guide our partners at the Ik Zorg Shop through the transition to a skills-based approach, thereby ensuring better utilization of the available workforce. Step by step, we make it possible to recruit and train together and offer suitable individuals a fitting role in the sector, while simultaneously working on recruitment, image, and retention.

This program offers a circular career path and an accessible method for helping future healthcare workers find a suitable position in the healthcare and social services sector. For healthcare and social services organizations, it serves as a learning and development program that enables them to work alongside career coaches and trainers to address the barriers that hinder skills-based employment. What does the job entail?

  • You will maintain the network of participating partners and recruit new partners.
  • You will organize and facilitate meetings with partners and stakeholders, highlight relevant issues within the program, and encourage collaboration
  • Together with the partners of the Ik Zorg Shop, you identify trends, needs, and challenges and assign them to a team of experts
  • You will guide and support this team and provide content-related assistance as needed
  • You will monitor progress and the budget and coordinate this with the program manager
  • You will advise and support the partners in implementing the results
  • You will implement the project plan to integrate the Care Enablers program into the Ik Zorg Shop program

In short, this is a role where you will be providing support, fostering connections, inspiring others, and driving innovation.

In this role, you will work closely with the program manager on the “Regional Employment” initiative. Within the Ik Zorg Shop project, you will collaborate with the shop coordinator, career coaches, and participating partners. You will report to the program manager on all substantive matters.

Together with the entire Utrechtzorg team, you will contribute to the regional strategy as an indispensable link in the effort to achieve a balanced labor market.

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

  • You have experience organizing gatherings where people can learn from and with one another
  • You have a solid theoretical background, such as a bachelor’s degree in change management or innovation processes.
