
The HR Manager serves as both a strategic policy advisor and the manager of a team of approximately 35 full-time equivalents. You collaborate with the board and provide high-level advice on HR developments, innovations, and research. In addition, you support the team in shaping and implementing HR policy for the organization through servant leadership. You are responsible for the HRM advisors, Occupational Health and Safety, HR and payroll administration, and the Job Center. You work closely with the Equipment and Quality Manager on training and quality assurance.
The mission for the coming years in this role is to ensure optimal positioning within the organization in order to provide sustainable, affordable, and future-proof care as effectively as possible. This involves recruiting, retaining, and engaging employees, as well as professionalizing the organization to ensure sufficient agility and resilience—working toward optimal (self-)management and self-organization not only for clients but also for employees. The HR Manager contributes to a dynamic HR department and focuses on a cyclical approach that allows for sufficient time for reflection.
The HR manager reports directly to the board. Meetings are held every two weeks with the other managers of support services to coordinate policy and implementation, ultimately, of course, to provide the best possible support to line managers. There are several program managers with whom we actively collaborate on strategic themes. The HR manager regularly consults with the Works Council and the Client Council. “Change through action” and “in the field” are key principles, encouraging employees to be resourceful.
You will be actively involved in a healthcare partnership in the Rotterdam-Rijnmond region, a collective of 36 healthcare and training organizations.
