Are you a marketing manager with vision who knows how to combine data, creativity, and teamwork? Do you have the charisma to inspire others and the sharpness to bring structure and focus? If so, we have a role for you where you can truly make a difference.

What will you be doing?

As Head of Marketing, Communications & Sales, you will lead a team of five professionals: a content marketer (online/offline), a marketer for NedPhO-Koepel and ancillary programming, a marketing and PR specialist, a (web) editor, and a CRM marketer.

You will be responsible for:

  • Our organization's marketing strategy and positioning.
  • Ticket sales and meeting visitor targets.
  • Developing campaigns that drive both visibility and conversions.
  • Clear communication, both internally and externally.
  • Brand development, tone of voice, and visual identity.
  • Audience engagement, loyalty, and audience expansion.
  • Team performance and the optimization of work processes.

You ensure that the team operates not only on routine, but also on ambition, creativity, and accountability. You optimize the data-driven approach and maintain focus: which methods work, what is the impact, and what needs to change? You work in dialogue with the artistic director and other key stakeholders to achieve the best possible results. You are able to translate the vision and strategy into a practical plan that inspires and energizes the team.

Since the role involves attending concerts, working evenings and weekends is part of your weekly schedule.

In addition, you will be a visible and active member of the management team (MT). You will contribute ideas on organization-wide issues, ensure coordination between departments, and bring your fresh, external perspective to the table.

What kind of leader are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who can provide direction, is willing to make decisions, and can bring others along with them. Someone who is energized by improvement and change.

What do you bring to the table?

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role.
  • Strategically strong, yet also hands-on and pragmatic.
  • Experience with ticket sales, audience analysis, and conversion-focused work.
  • You think in terms of results and measure them (KPIs, dashboards, evaluations).
  • You communicate well with both creative professionals and data analysts.
  • You have experience with change processes and know how to get people moving.
  • You’re curious, innovative, and not afraid of a little excitement.
  • You have a way with words and a good sense of tone, imagery, and branding.
  • You are a charismatic and enthusiastic person who inspires and maintains trust.
  • You speak Dutch and English well.
  • Your knowledge of classical music adds depth to marketing and communication.

What do we offer?

  • You will start with a one-year temporary employment contract.
  • The salary is up to €6,907.67 gross per month (Central Government Collective Bargaining Agreement, Scale 12), on a full-time basis and depending on age and experience.
  • 8% vacation pay.
  • An end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.
  • Travel expense reimbursement.
  • 25 days of vacation based on full-time employment.
  • 104 hours of ATV for a full-time position (resulting in a 38-hour workweek).
  • We are affiliated with the ABP Pension Fund and offer discounts on supplemental employee insurance plans.
  • We offer you excellent training and development opportunities.
  • A role where you can really make a difference.
  • You’ll be part of a friendly team, working closely with music alongside passionate and skilled colleagues at the NedPhO-Koepel in Amsterdam-East.
