We are looking for an experienced Head of HRM (32–36 hours per week) to help us continue to grow and build connections.
As Head of HRM, you’ll play a key role at CJG Rijnmond and be responsible for supporting your team and optimizing our HRM strategy. You’ll make important people-centered work possible while keeping a close eye on the business side of things. And you’ll ensure that we’re ready for the future—just like the parents and children we’re here to support. Are you ready for that?
Support for the biggest challenge of a person’s life. That’s what we stand for at CJG Rijnmond. Because parenting is a responsibility that can sometimes feel overwhelming. And anyone who has ever been a child knows that growing up isn’t always easy either.
We’re here for parents and caregivers who have questions. And for children and young people who need support. We’re always close by: from the well-baby clinic to the classroom and beyond, right up until they turn 18. A healthy and safe childhood for all children in Rotterdam-Rijnmond: that’s what we’re committed to every day.
You will lead a team of 10 HR professionals. You provide direction and energy. Where necessary, you coach your colleagues in their development and professional skills, and where possible, you rely on and utilize the team’s expertise. Together, you will help our organization move forward at the right pace in the area of HR—strategically, operationally, and in terms of support—so that we can work in a flexible and customer-focused manner and connect with the employees of today and tomorrow.
As Head of HRM, you serve as a strategic partner to the board and management. You support regional managers in carrying out their management responsibilities. You guide change processes and ensure a smooth and well-thought-out implementation. And you ensure that we make progress on key KPIs such as job satisfaction, diversity and inclusion, absenteeism, and employee well-being. In this way, you create and maintain an environment in which all colleagues can deliver their best performance for the parents and children in our region.
You keep a cool head and maintain a clear overview, even amid the many HR challenges at CJG, while ensuring a calm atmosphere for yourself and the team. You work with the team to achieve annual goals. You set priorities, make joint decisions, and take decisive action. You lead the team, provide transparent and ongoing communication, share information, help the team grow, and foster connections. You combine your experience, vision, and strength of character with a welcome sense of perspective. You help HR advisors develop into HR Business Partners and work closely with the organizational development advisor.
Are you interested in working as Head of HRM to support youth healthcare in our region? We’d love to hear from you. Please send us your application by November 29, 2024. We’d love to see a short video message of up to 1 minute. Would you like more information? Please contact Lilith Vermeulen, Head of Corporate Staff, at 06-43780881.
The interviews will be held in weeks 50 and 51.
