The Frans Hals Museum is Haarlem’s art museum. Housed in two stunning historic locations in the heart of Haarlem, the museum presents the largest collection of works by Frans Hals, as well as a fascinating blend of old, modern, and contemporary art. Our exhibitions, programs, and activities are designed to encourage both existing and new audiences to see things differently and to reveal more. Pluralism, inclusion, and diversity are key priorities in this regard. The Frans Hals Museum is thus a museum with an international reputation, a national presence, and deep local roots.
