Head of Administration
The Bijlmer Parktheater is a dynamic cultural organization in Amsterdam Zuidoost, where untold stories are given a platform and audiences feel at home. Here, intercultural perspectives and emerging artists are given the space to develop and inspire audiences. We present performances, but we also produce shows that tour the country. Our organization is growing and evolving, which is why we are looking for a Head of Administration to help strengthen our financial processes.
What will you be doing?
As Head of Administration, you will help ensure the organization’s financial health and provide the insights needed to achieve that. You will ensure that our financial administration is efficient and future-proof. You will be part of the management team, contribute to financial policy decisions, and ensure that plans are successfully implemented.
Who are we looking for?
- You share the Bijlmer Parktheater’s mission and vision.
- You have experience with financial administration and process optimization.
- You have leadership skills and enjoy guiding a team.
- You are able to switch effectively between policy and implementation.
- You have strong communication skills.
- Experience with Exact is a plus, but not required.
- You live in Amsterdam Zuidoost or are willing to travel there regularly.
- A relevant associate's degree or higher.

- Salary in accordance with the Dutch Performing Arts Collective Bargaining Agreement (CAO Nederlandse Podia), ranging from €3,200 to €4,500 based on a 36-hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience.
