As an experienced team manager, you will be responsible for overseeing two departments (NAH and PG) and will also have broader responsibilities within the organization. The location is currently transitioning into an NAH knowledge center, a process in which you will play a key role alongside the domain manager. You will ensure that employees transition smoothly to the new departments and contribute to a positive work environment.
As a team manager, you play an active roleinoptimizing the work environment and culture, including byreducingabsenteeism due to illness. With your focus, thoughtful approach, and decisiveness, you are able to improve job satisfaction and the quality of care. You won’t be doing this alone: there is an organization-wide commitment to making this location stronger again. Time, expertise, manpower, and budget are being allocated to achieve this. Currently, there is a need for an experienced team manager who takes responsibility, inspires and motivates the team, and is willing to address colleagues when necessary.
Duties and responsibilities:

Additional management training is a plus;
You have excellent coaching skills.
An interest in stroke care;
You have at least 3 years of managerial experience in the healthcare sector;
Ottho Heldringstraatisa residential facility for seniors and clients with acquired brain injury (ABI) located in a mixed-use neighborhood in Nieuw West. It is housed in a modern, newly constructed building and accommodates over 70 residents with acquired brain injury (ABI) or psychiatric/somatic care needs. Eventually, the focus will shift entirely to ACIs. Residents have spacious private rooms, and there are shared living rooms for every six residents. Both the mix of residents and the staff are multicultural and reflect the diversity of Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
