Due to maternity leave, Erfgoed Gelderland is seeking a communications advisor to start in mid-July. Together with your colleague, you will ensure that our communications are clear, recognizable, and effective for our members, stakeholders, and the Gelderland heritage sector. You will work on both the organization’s communications and those of various projects. In doing so, you will easily switch between strategy and execution: from devising an approach to writing a news release or organizing a meeting.
Erfgoed Gelderland is a nonprofit organization serving the heritage sector in Gelderland. As a foundation and a cooperative, we provide support and advice to museums, historical societies, and other heritage organizations in managing collections and presenting stories. Our strength lies in our ability to recognize the passion of heritage managers and use it to foster entrepreneurship, collaboration, and self-reliance. Erfgoed Gelderland employs a team of 20 staff members who are capable of working independently and are driven by their passion for the subject matter and motivated to achieve our shared mission: Giving the past a future together.
The Gelderland Heritage Foundation adheres to the Museum Collective Labor Agreement. This position is classified in pay scale 9 of this agreement, with a gross salary ranging from €3,463 to €4,500 based on a full-time appointment (36 hours). Salary placement is based on knowledge and experience. This is a temporary position starting in mid-July 2026. Are you available for fewer hours? We still warmly invite you to apply.
Erfgoed Gelderland places great value on diversity and participation. Everyone should have the opportunity to appreciate, preserve, and pass on history and heritage. We strive for a diverse heritage sector that makes room for different stories and perspectives. We do this under the motto “Giving the past a future together.” If you don’t meet all the criteria but bring a new perspective to the table, we encourage you to apply for this position.
