In this challenging role, you will be responsible for the tactical management of two fire stations, thereby playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the region. Rapid global changes in climate, safety, and demographics are bringing new challenges. These changes also require the continued development of the Fire Department’s operational tasks.

Your leadership style is characterized by a coaching approach that focuses on task execution and achieving agreed-upon results. Your leadership style contributes to the development of our commanders and personnel and helps improve their sense of ownership, professionalism, and task maturity.

You know how to inspire and motivate people to bring out the best in themselves and increase their commitment to the organization.

As a cluster manager, you serve as a role model in terms of the desired attitude, behavior, and communication. In doing so, you make a positive contribution to internal and external relationships in terms of content, process, and/or interpersonal dynamics.

As a cluster manager, you have strong communication skills and can collaborate effectively with various departments and teams. You know how to handle resistance and take a solution-oriented approach. You are a connector who is “firm on the substance but gentle in your interactions” with your team and colleagues.
