
The Anne-Bo Foundation is growing rapidly, and to support this growth, we are seeking a new board member to oversee the Fundraising portfolio. The Anne-Bo Foundation strives to promote equal opportunities for girls who have dreams but don’t always know how to achieve them, or who lack the network or resources to make those dreams a reality. Through scholarships and coaching, we support girls for whom pursuing higher education is not a given. Do you have a proven commitment to or affinity for the field of equal opportunity? We are looking for a board member to oversee theFundraising portfolio for the foundation. You will focus on developing and expanding your portfolio and will be responsible for implementing these initiatives yourself. You will report directly to Annemieke van de Wouw, Executive Director, and Eva Schouten, Operations Director.
As a board member, you will attend the board meetings in Haarlem four times a year. At these meetings, the progress and objectives of the Anne-Bo Foundation are discussed.
Fundraising Portfolio: Youwill drive significant financial growth by securing funds from corporations (CSR), individual donors, bequests, and major gifts. You will build and maintain relationships with various funds and donors. With your proven expertise and extensive network, you will serve as a strategic partner to the board in the area of fundraising.
The Anne-Bo Foundation was established in 2020 by Annemieke van de Wouw, Anne-Bo’s mother, and is dedicated to promoting equal opportunities for girls who have dreams but don’t always know how to achieve them, or lack the network or resources to make those dreams a reality. The Anne-Bo Foundation supports girls in pursuing higher education through a scholarship and a personal coach. The coaches at the Anne-Bo Foundation provide the students with advice and support throughout their studies and beyond, in order to achieve that crucial equality of opportunity.
The Anne-Bo Foundation is headquartered in Haarlem but operates throughout the Netherlands. Currently, the Anne-Bo Foundation supports a large group of female students across the country, providing each student with a personal coach, and the group is growing every week. The Anne-Bo Foundation team currently consists of about 10 members, most of whom are volunteers.

The board position requires approximately four hours per week. The position is unpaid, but relevant travel expenses will be reimbursed. You will be appointed for a one-year term, with the possibility of renewal.
