More about this organization
A modern glass theater building with a curved roof and orange accents, surrounded by green trees under a blue sky.

Theater Koningshof is Maassluis’ vibrant cultural center, offering a wide range of professional and local performances. In addition to a diverse theater and film program, the building features 10multifunctional rooms suitable for courses, workshops, and training sessions. Theater Koningshof is home to various local and regional organizations, such as Muziek@Maassluis, Dancestudio M’Joy, and the Jeugdtheaterhuis, which offer people of all ages the opportunity to discover or further develop their talents. These gatherings take place in our beautiful Atrium, complete with a cozy bar.

As Bruisend Huis in Maassluis, we offer a place for gathering, talent development, relaxation, and connection. A place where everyone is welcome.

Day-to-day management is handled by a director and an enthusiastic team. The foundation’s board provides guidance on policy development from a distance and oversees the organization’s operations. Board members contribute their own expertise and professional networks to this effort. The boardmeets 4–6 times a year. We are looking to expand our board with members who can contribute in one of the following areas:

  • Marketing/Communications;we expect the board member with a background in marketing/communications to provideexpert input in the areas of marketing, public relations, and the use of audience data.
  • Social; we expect the board member with a “social” profile to provideexpert input on issues that can link culture to social challenges within Maassluis, such as those in the social sector.

What we offer:

  • A challenging leadership role in the cultural heart of Maassluis;
