As an Events Account Manager at the
Concertgebouw, you’ll work at one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world, in a
place where there’s something new to experience every day.
Together with two colleagues, you’ll be part
of the Events team. The team is part of the Production, Venue Rental,
and Events department. You’ll play a key role in making events happen. Thanks to
your knowledge and experience, your customer-focused approach, and your use of various software programs,
you’ll contribute to the planning and execution of events, in addition to
concert programming at Het Concertgebouw.

the field of organizing and preparing events (at least two
years).

processes, and you take pride in doing your work with attention to detail.

The
Concertgebouw brings together and enriches a diverse audience with a
sublime musical experience
That's why
we're curious to find out who you are!
What
will you be doing?
You are the
point of contact for clients and sponsors who wish to rent venues within the

organize events, and you’ll contribute to Het Concertgebouw’s goal of offering our guests
a diverse range of high-quality events.
Your main duties and

logistics, catering, audiovisual equipment, and pricing;
- You advise and consult with
caterers and AV specialists and document the agreements reached for the
operational departments;
- You
prepare cost estimates, contracts, and scripts;
- You will ensure optimal
support for the organizers and, as a result, maintain a good relationship with them;
- You
manage the schedule and enter all event data into the
iConcert scheduling system;
- You
are responsible for ensuring that financial transactions are processed correctly.
What
do we offer?
- A salary ranging, in accordance with
the Concertgebouw’s compensation system, from €2,428 to €3,374 gross
per month based on full-time employment (38 hours per week).
- You'll be taking on a
versatile, independent role in a challenging industry.
- You can attend concerts in
(in our humble opinion) the most beautiful concert hall in the Netherlands.
- You can take training courses to
keep your knowledge up to date and continue to grow.
- You can work partly from home if
you want to.
- You are accruing pension benefits.
- A bicycle plan for up to €749,
including VAT.
- The opportunity to
take yoga classes
- Free ticket program for employees.
- And last but not least: you’ll be
part of a dedicated, enthusiastic, and friendly team with an
informal work environment.
