Member of the Supervisory Board

Who are you?

As a member of the Supervisory Board, you are able to implement strategic changes at the appropriate level

to review and form an opinion on this matter. Together with your fellow supervisors, you are

a sounding board for the director of the Veenendaal Library. You also understand the importance of teamwork

and to foster a sense of teamwork within the Supervisory Board.

We believe it is important that you:

• have an affinity for the scope of work and the role of the Veenendaal Public Library;
• have a relevant network within Veenendaal’s community and local politics;
• has experience working at the executive level or in a supervisory capacity;
• you feel responsible for the functioning of the Board of Trustees as a whole;
• are able to reflect on your own behavior and the functioning of the Board of Trustees;
• are empathetic and relationship-oriented;
• have a background in HR or knowledge and experience in this field;
• are familiar with the principles of the Good Governance Code and apply them.

Like every member of the Supervisory Board, you are independent: you have no business interest in the

membership on the Supervisory Board, or a direct political office in Veenendaal.
