About the Supervisory Board

The Mulier Institute Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors (BOD). The Supervisory Board (SB) oversees the performance of the BOD and the general affairs of the foundation. In addition, the Supervisory Board serves as a sounding board for the Board of Directors regarding the foundation’s development. Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a new member for our Board of Trustees who:

  • experience and expertise in cybersecurity, AI, and ICT;
  • a network that could be helpful to the Mulier Institute;
  • supervisory and managerial skills and experience;
  • an independent, impartial, and constructive approach toward the board and the organization.

We are looking to add someone to our Supervisory Board who will complement the expertise of our current members. The person we are seeking will focus on innovation, IT, and digital security within the Supervisory Board. An interest in sports and physical activity (and related research) is a plus. You will serve as a sounding board for the other members of the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board on these topics.

About the Mulier Institute

We conduct research on behalf of government agencies, sports organizations, and other clients. In addition, we secure grants for in-depth research. At the Mulier Institute, we believe it is important for everyone to feel at home. We strive to create a work culture that is as inclusive as possible, with a focus on equality and on preventing and combating exclusion. We value diversity within the organization—including diversity in terms of ethnic and cultural background, religious and philosophical beliefs, employability, gender, and sexual orientation—and are committed to increasing it.

The Mulier Institute is based in Utrecht and has approximately 75 employees.
