About Morgen Childcare

Morgen is the umbrella organization behind four unique childcare brands: Up, True Colors, EigenWijs, and Blauwkapje, with nearly 40 locations in the Rijswijk, The Hague-Ypenburg, Delft, and Westland-Wateringen regions. We also operate four Integrated Child Centers: Max Havelaar, Snijders, Buitenrijck, and De Eglantier. Each of our locations has its own identity, but they all share a single vision: high-quality, inclusive childcare that meets the needs of every child.

What will you do as a member of the Supervisory Board?

As a member of the Supervisory Board, you will help shape Morgen’s strategic direction and social mission. You will serve as a critical partner to the board, monitor quality, and ensure alignment between policy and implementation.

Specifically, you will serve as an ambassador for diversity and inclusion, with a focus on social trends and innovation in the child care sector. Together with the other members, you will ensure a broad and diverse range of expertise within the Council.

What are we looking for in you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who:

• Has knowledge and experience in diversity, inclusion, or social issues.
• A strategic perspective on governance, policy, and the child care sector.
• Experience as a supervisor or in a similar role.
• This commitment demonstrates a social impact, specifically focused on children's development.
• Has ties to the region and/or is familiar with the challenges faced by families in our service areas.
• Takes a proactive approach and feels committed to the mission of Kinderopvang Morgen.
• Practical information about the position
• Time commitment: an average of 16 half-days per year, including meetings, work visits, and preparation.
• Fees: in accordance with the guidelines of the Dutch Association of Childcare Supervisors (NVTK).
• Term of office: four years, with the possibility of reappointment.
