We are an organization on the move. In recent years, we have built a future-proof structure centered on specialized departments, enhanced quality, and digitalization. In addition, we work closely with our partners in the so-called G6: Maatvast, Cpunt, Mantelzorg & Meer, MEE, and Team Sportservice. The next phase requires vision, collaboration, and the ability to provide strategic leadership in a changing social sector.
We are seeking a member for the Supervisory Board who has expertise in the social sector and/or social work and who can contribute strategic insights regarding the social challenges and collaboration that MeerWaarde stands for.
The Supervisory Board is addressing key issues concerning the future of social work in Haarlemmermeer:
The Board aims not only to oversee, but also to inspire, provide guidance, and offer feedback—in close collaboration with the director and within the social context of MeerWaarde.
The Supervisory Board consists of five members and serves as the employer, supervisor, and sounding board for the Executive Director. The Board fosters a collegial and positive culture, with committed and experienced members who hold each other accountable for substance, collaboration, and results. The Supervisory Board meets at least six times a year in full session with the Executive Director. The Board works with three different committees: the Audit Committee, the Compensation Committee, and the Quality Committee.

You will work alongside a dedicated executive and a supportive Board of Supervisors on issues that matter: from collaboration in the social sector to embedding prevention and community building.
The compensation amounts to €4,500 per year and is adjusted annually for inflation.
The Board meets at least six times a year; there is also an opening on the Compensation and Quality Committee, and members are welcome to join.
