FNO is a social equity fund for and with people in vulnerable situations in the Netherlands. The fund’s goal is to ensure that these individuals have sustained, improved opportunities for better health, quality of life, and future prospects. Each FNO program addresses a social issue related to health. In these programs, FNO connects people and organizations and works with them to tackle these issues. The needs and experiences of the people involved are the guiding principle. Through this collaboration, they and FNO’s partners can take the necessary actions. FNO provides the knowledge, experience, network, and funding to make this possible.
The Supervisory Board plays a crucial role in ensuring that FNO’s mission and vision are upheld. The Supervisory Board consists of five members. Board members share responsibility for overseeing the policies of the Executive Director and the general affairs of the fund. This includes both programmatic expenditures and asset management, with an investment portfolio of half a billion euros. A vacancy has arisen as one of the members has reached the maximum term of service. We are seeking a supervisor to join the Board. We place great importance on diversity and inclusion and are looking for someone who is eager to contribute to addressing the complex social issues that FNO works on.
FNO operates four programs: for and with families in vulnerable situations, people with long-term health conditions, and young adults.
