Teylers Museum is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable member for its board of trustees to oversee the finance portfolio. In this role, you will help ensure the financial health and long-term sustainability of the Netherlands’ oldest museum.
About Teylers Museum
Teylers Museum was founded in 1784 and is still housed in its original building. At the museum, you can marvel at art and science. It houses a unique collection of fossils, minerals, books, coins, medals, scientific instruments, paintings, and drawings of international significance. The history of the museum itself is also on display in the historic halls and Pieter Teyler’s House. We organize diverse and successful (international) exhibitions, ranging from Hockney’s Eye and The Great Illusion to Michelangelo’s Men.

- You will help set the strategic agenda and prepare for meetings.
- You share responsibility for ensuring the proper functioning of the supervisory board.
