Consumer Products, Games and Publishing (DCP) brings Disney’s beloved brands and franchises into the everyday lives of families and fans through products – from toys to t-shirts, apps, books, console games and more. The Marketing & Sales Coordinator will support the DCP team in developing and implementing both sales and marketing plans to build the Disney brands, increase awareness, and stimulate sales of Disney products to ultimately help accelerate retail growth in the Netherlands and Belgium. 

Job Summary

The Marketing & Sales Coordinator will support the DCP team in developing and implementing both sales and marketing plans to build the Disney brands, increase awareness, and stimulate sales of Disney products to ultimately help accelerate retail growth in the Netherlands and Belgium. This role entails working in the office for 4 days per week.

The role will include helping to drive sales targets and executing retail promotional programs and marketing events.

This requires working closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Parks & Resorts, Studios & Content, Disney+, Communications & PR, Creative Services, Digital & Social, and Finance. Externally, you support the team maintaining a strong relationship with our key retailers and licensees. The Marketing & Sales Coordinator reports to the Commercial & Marketing Manager Benelux.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Commercial Managers to adapt global sales and marketing strategy into a local strategy
  • Support the DCP team in achieving the annual sales and growth targets
  • Support the Commercial Managers implement the integrated marketing plans in the Benelux
  • Ownership & coordination of the localization, production and approvals of brand and retail campaign materials together with the regional and local creative team
  • Pro-actively align internal and external business stakeholders to drive synergy regarding all marketing communication of our brands & products

Required experience

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in (retail) marketing, sales, project management or similar role
  • Experience with creative concepts, (digital) campaigns and events to drive awareness and conversion
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch and Belgium retail landscape
  • Creative flair and interest in consumer brands and products
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken), French is a plus

Required skills

  • Good stakeholder communication and management skills
  • Service minded, open, flexible, professional and extravert team player
  • Good planning and execution skills: able to multitask or manage several projects simultaneously
  • The ability to work tight deadlines and adapt to changing business demands at short notice in an international environment
  • Strong organizational skills with very strong attention to details
  • Experience with Photoshop and illustrator is a plus.
