The Performing Arts Fund is the cultural fund for music, theater, musical theater, dance, and festivals in the Netherlands. On behalf of the national government, the Fund provides support for all forms of professional performing arts. Our organization is committed to fostering a vibrant performing arts scene that appeals to as many different people as possible and is at the heart of society. We do all this with a focus on artists and performers from diverse genres and generations. The Performing Arts Fund offers multi-year support, various programming and production grants, individual contributions, and programs to stimulate new initiatives. In addition, the Fund is involved in the international promotion of Dutch performing arts. The organization consists of approximately 80 permanent staff members and a large pool of external advisors. What will you be doing?

As a workplace administrator, you manage the digital workplace and the digital work environment. This includes laptops, telephony, peripherals, software, and infrastructure such as Wi-Fi, firewalls, etc. The digital workplace is based on Microsoft 365 and Workspace 365.

  • You will be the primary point of contact for our colleagues and will manage Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and other applications as needed;
  • You translate functional requests from our colleagues into concrete proposals for the IT team or our external vendors;
  • You identify the need for training and instructions for our end users;
  • You evaluate change requests based on relevance, impact, cost, and implementation time;
  • You will oversee the design of applications as part of the change management process, working with vendors and users;
  • You ensure that all employees can do their work in their digital work environment with as few problems and disruptions as possible;
  • You will register new users and provide them with the necessary hardware (including laptops, phones, and peripherals)
  • You answer users' questions and resolve their issues, actively seek ways to improve the user experience, and document these improvements in manuals and other documentation;
  • You ensure that the digital infrastructure is up to date and has been updated with the latest updates;
  • You manage the Microsoft 365 suite from a technical perspective, including Entra and Azure AD;
  • You will also manage the MS 365 suite from a functional perspective, which includes coordinating document sharing and setting up MS Teams within the organization;
  • You will help manage contracts and licenses and provide advice on renewing existing contracts or entering into new ones.

Who are you?

You are customer-focused, flexible, proactive, and detail-oriented. You are accustomed to working in a results-oriented manner and have a professional and driven work ethic. You are excellent at planning and organizing your work and communicate effectively.

What are you bringing?

  • HBO-level academic and intellectual ability;
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in setting up and managing Microsoft 365, Azure AD, SharePoint, and Teams;
  • Automation is important to you, which is why you opt for solutions that can be applied more frequently whenever possible;
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written Dutch and English;
  • Experience with and knowledge of PowerShell is a plus;
  • Experience with and knowledge of frameworks such as BISL, ASL, and ITIL are a plus.

What we offer

  • A position for 32 to 36 hours per week;
  • A one-year contract with the possibility of a permanent position;
  • A gross monthly salary in pay grade 9 under the Central Government Collective Bargaining Agreement (CAO Rijk), ranging from €3,165.00 to €4,440.00 based on a 36-hour workweek. Your starting salary will depend on your experience;
  • A thirteenth month's salary, vacation pay, pension;
  • A laptop and an iPhone;
  • A casual, pleasant work environment where we work closely together;
  • A personal budget for attending performing arts events.
