The Nederlands Blazers Ensemble (NBE) is a musical collective that believes in the unifying power of music. Driven by curiosity and artistic daring, the NBE creates performances that push boundaries, open up new perspectives, and bring people together. The NBE positions itself as a musical sanctuary: a place for encounter, wonder, and discovery. At its core is the goal of taking audiences, creators, and partners on a shared journey of discovery—not by confirming what is already known, but by showcasing what is not yet self-evident. The NBE creates concerts that you don’t just hear, but experience. At the NBE office, in the heart of Amsterdam, a small and dedicated team works on preparing and executing all projects. Starting in September, we are looking for a marketing and communications manager.
As the Marketing and Communications Manager at the NBE, you’ll bridge the gap between strategy and execution. You’ll be responsible for policy development, coordination, planning, and implementation in the areas of marketing, publicity, and communications for the NBE. You’ll carry out all of this in close collaboration with the Artistic and Executive Directors. Together with this team, you’ll actively strategize about the visibility and growth of the NBE brand. You actively seek out opportunities to increase visibility and contribute to new ways of inspiring both the public and potential sponsors and donors. In addition, you draw energy fromhands-on, practical implementation and enjoy working on tasks such as maintaining the website and writing newsletters.
Responsible for offline and online communications and promotional materials (such as maintaining the website, social media, program booklets, and newsletters) and creating advertorials;
You can apply through July 6, 2026, by sending your cover letter and resume to rn@nbe.nl, addressed to Elena van Slogteren. The first interviews will take place during the week of July 13.
