Are you a natural at motivating young people and a pro at organizing? Do you enjoy working with others and want to make a difference in creating a climate-just world? Then keep reading!
We at Milieudefensie Jong are looking for someone to start on September 1:
4 top trainees (0.4 FTE / 15 hours) who want to join our team!
What will you be doing?
As a trainee on the Milieudefensie Jong coordination team, you’ll spend a year learning how to engage young volunteer groups in a dynamic movement for climate justice. You’ll get the chance to organize the coolest actions alongside experienced organizers: you won’t just learn how to do it, but you’ll actually do it. After a year full of action and growth, you’ll decide for yourself how to continue building climate justice—in your own way, in your own community. Within Milieudefensie, you’ll help Milieudefensie Jong make its own voice heard.
What is an organizer? An organizer works to involve as many volunteers as possible in Milieudefensie’s campaigns and empowers them to take action on their own and develop their skills. We also refer to volunteers as “change-makers.” The more people who join us, the more pressure we can put on major polluters. Polluters are powerful, but together we are stronger.

2. Trainee Campaign
