More about this organization
A man in a yellow sweater and a woman in a white jacket are chatting and laughing, with colleagues in the background near an office building.

Are you a collaborative leader with a clear vision for digital transformation and IT? Can you translate strategy into a future-proof IT environment, and do you thrive on leading and developing a diverse team of IT professionals? And above all, do you want to contribute to the value of work at Pantar?

Pantar is the largest social enterprise in Amsterdam and Diemen. It is a vibrant and diverse organization that doesn’t view a disability as a limitation. At Pantar, you’ll find a job where you can truly make a difference while continuing to develop your talents.

A glimpse into the world of this role

As ICT Team Manager, you will report to the Operations Manager and be part of the Operations Management team. You will lead the ICT department, which consists of functional technical application specialists (4 FTE), technical support (2 FTE), and IT project management (2 FTE). Together, you will ensure the operation, management, and further development of all information and communication technology within Pantar. In doing so, you will work closely with an external IT service provider and various internal stakeholders.

As an ICT Team Manager, you are responsible for both the day-to-day management and the strategic development of the ICT organization. You lead the team and foster an open, safe, and inclusive work environment where collaboration, development, and ownership are central. You translate the organizational strategy into a multi-year ICT plan and work toward a future-proof, stable, and secure ICT environment.

You will initiate and oversee projects in the areas of process improvement and digital innovation, and translate information needs into clear management reports and dashboards.

Finally, you will be responsible for supplier and contract management. You will maintain and strengthen relationships with IT suppliers, manage service levels, costs, and quality, and work closely with the Procurement team. You will ensure continuity, innovation, and sustainable partnerships that contribute to Pantar’s strategic IT ambitions.

In this role, you will be most successful if you have...

You possess strong judgment and are able to translate complex issues into clear decisions. As a manager, you provide direction, encourage collaboration, and create a safe work environment where people can grow. You are results-oriented, maintain a focus on quality and continuity, and serve as a reliable and engaging point of contact for colleagues and external parties.

In addition, you should have a college-level education and mindset, preferably in the field of IT, computer science, or business administration, supplemented by relevant management experience and appropriate IT certifications.

Don't check off every box (yet)? Apply anyway—you probably have other valuable skills we haven't even thought of yet!

In addition to the fact that you’ll be working for the largest (but above all, the most enjoyable) social enterprise in the greater Amsterdam area, Pantar offers excellent benefits, such as:

  • Salary: Salary scale 12 of the PGA (maximum €7,163 gross based on a 36-hour workweek). An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 17.05% that you can use as you see fit. Health insurance allowance and a group discount on supplemental insurance with Zilveren Kruis and Centraal Beheer Achmea. Work-from-home allowance in accordance with the PGA;
  • Hours: You are available for 36 hours per week;
  • Work environment: An informal work environment and a place where collaboration is key;
  • Hybrid work: At Pantar, you’ll work at our headquarters in Diemen and/or from home if your work allows it.;
  • Leave: Do you work full-time? If so, you’re entitled to 144 statutory leave hours and 57.6 additional leave hours per year. You can also purchase additional leave through the IKB. This helps you maintain a better work-life balance;
  • Travel: Pantar offers a mileage allowance for commuting of €0.10 per km when traveling by car, €0.15 when traveling by bicycle, or €0.21 when using public transportation;
  • Pension: Pension accrual through PFZW, 60% paid by Pantar;
