We are looking for a

Finance and Administrative Team Leader
32–36 hours per week

The Finance and Administrative Team Leader manages three administrative and secretarial staff members, advises the organization on financial matters, ensures the team’s commitment to customer service, and reports directly to the Executive Director.

What will you be doing?

  • You will manage three administrative and secretarial staff members who are service-oriented and responsible for a number of the museum’s financial and administrative processes.
  • You will be responsible for financial administration (through our external service provider, OZCAR) and other administrative and support processes in the areas of finance and administration.
  • You monitor, identify, and execute the planning and control cycle, and you assess potential risks and developments.
  • You will assist the business director in making strategic and operational decisions by preparing budgets and reports.
  • You will advise and work closely with the management team and project leaders, and you will establish the parameters for budget determination, assist in the preparation of budgets, (project) estimates, and forecasts.
  • You provide advice on optimizing and streamlining business processes

Who are you?

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration, or at least 5 years of demonstrable experience in this field, and at least 3 years of experience leading a team
  • You are a proactive go-getter with a service-oriented attitude
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and extensive knowledge of financial and administrative systems and Excel
  • You do this with a lot of energy and a commitment to customer service, both internally and externally

  • Salary between €3,525.00 and €4,738.00 gross for full-time employment (salary level as of July 1, 2022, under the museum collective bargaining agreement)
  • A one-year temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position
