Would you like to work alongside passionate colleagues to create a world where people and nature thrive? And help build a “nature-positive” impact in the world’s most biodiverse landscapes by mobilizing people? That’s what you’ll be doing when you work at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF-NL).
WWF-NL is a professional and dynamic organization with a casual work environment based in Zeist.
The organization consists of the following departments: Conservation, Engagement, Organization & Talent Development, and Finance & Operations. To strengthen the Organization & Talent Development (OTD) department, we are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner (32–40 hours per week).
Are you an enthusiastic HR professional who loves making a difference? Are you looking for a role where you can truly make an impact on people, teams, and our mission to protect nature? Then we have the perfect challenge for you!
As an HR Business Partner, you’ll become part of our friendly and driven OTD HR team. Together with the other HR Business Partner, a Junior HR Business Partner/Recruitment Coordinator, a Learning & Development Advisor, and an Organizational Development Manager, you’ll help shape WWF-NL’s HR strategy. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the Engagement, Finance & Operations, and OTD departments. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of HR.
You serve as an inspiring sounding board for the management of WWF-NL. You advise them so they can further develop their teams into engaged, passionate, and impactful teams. You are able to translate the teams’ needs into HR solutions, as well as provide both solicited and unsolicited advice. The focus here is on the personal and professional development of individuals and teams, absence management, recruitment and selection, development, talent management, and sustainable employability.
Although the role requires a high degree of independence and self-reliance, you will also work closely with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with various internal stakeholders on a daily basis.
Together with your fellow HR Business Partners, you’ll work on various HR projects—such as performance management, employee well-being, employee engagement, and leadership development—by sharing knowledge and developing and implementing targeted, customized interventions. You understand how important it is to build strong relationships and know how to motivate people and involve them in plans. This makes you a valuable sparring partner who, in your role as an HR Business Partner, provides direction and structure with a critical yet supportive perspective. In addition, you’ll work closely with colleagues in HR administration and be part of WWF’s international People & Culture community.
The HR Business Partner role is an excellent fit for someone who already has experience in an HRBP role and a broad understanding of the field, who is eager to further develop their skills, and who is keen to make an active contribution to building the most inspiring and impactful nature organization in the Netherlands.
You know how to translate HR issues into practical, goal-oriented advice and are driven to actively advance the HR agenda. You have a naturally down-to-earth approach and communicate easily with colleagues at all levels within the organization. With your keen insight, you ask the right critical questions and combine this with strong empathy. You are an experienced conversationalist who quickly and professionally gets to the heart of a situation. In addition, you maintain a clear overview during changes and know how to manage them in a structured, project-based manner.
You fully identify with the core values of WWF-NL:
