Due to an expansion of the secretariat staff, we are looking for a new colleague. As an executive assistant, you will be the linchpin of our organization. In an organization like the Limburgs Museum, this means a wide variety of tasks.

Who are we looking for?

As a senior executive assistant, you will assist the director and the management team. Your responsibilities will range from preparing for and taking minutes at meetings to scheduling the agenda and handling correspondence on behalf of management. Together with a colleague, you will also serve as the museum’s front desk staff, answering phones, welcoming visitors, and handling incoming mail and emails.

Working at the Limburgs Museum means joining an enthusiastic and ambitious team of over 80 dedicated and supportive staff members and volunteers. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic. It is therefore important that you are flexible, proactive, positive, and able to handle stress. Strong, transparent communication skills are essential for this role.

What are we looking for?

  • Since you’re jumping on a moving train: at least three years of experience in a similar role (administrative or secretarial);
  • Experience in taking minutes;
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • You are available 24 hours per week (days to be determined);
  • You’re also, above all, an enthusiastic, positive, and friendly colleague who rolls up your sleeves to help ensure our museum’s continued success.

What can you expect from us?

In addition to a pleasant work environment in our beautiful museum, we offer a salary between €2,800 and €3,300 per month based on a 36-hour workweek. We also provide excellent benefits, such as a travel allowance, a 13th-month bonus, and, of course, free admission to our museum for you and your family!
