NTR is the broadcaster behind acclaimed programs such as *Het Klokhuis*, *Andere Tijden*, *Nieuwsuur*, and *Kunststof Radio*. Guided by our mission to be “special for everyone,” we develop high-quality, relevant programming for all audiences, creating shows and productions that inspire and contribute to people’s personal growth.

In collaboration with the NOS, the NTR produces " Nieuws en Co," a daily, up-to-the-minute, in-depth program on NPO Radio 1. From Monday through Friday, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., "Nieuws en Co " brings listeners the day’s news, with a special focus on science.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Coming up with original angles on news topics, asking probing questions about the news, and thus turning current stories into compelling (live) radio;
• Send reporters out with your research to cover stories and provide live reports;
• Finding, selecting, and preparing guests and speakers for studio discussions on current events;
• Inspire your colleagues in the radio newsroom with compelling pitches and ideas that reflect the diversity and varied perspectives within our society.

This is you:

• A passionate, energetic journalist with extensive radio experience who loves nothing more than finding and producing news;
• Audio enthusiast, you’re skilled at editing and know how to turn a complete story into compelling radio;
• Creative and open-minded when it comes to ideas and perspectives;
• Someone who knows how to add a little something extra to the news that’s already out there—and where to find the follow-up;
• A team player with a constructive attitude who can work effectively on their own, demonstrating a strong sense of initiative and responsibility;
• Aware of your own bubble, and precisely for that reason curious aboutsomeone else’s story or perspective.

Here's what we offer:

A one-year contract starting January 1, 2024, with the possibility of renewal. Depending on your knowledge and experience, this position is compensated within salary grade G (€3,118.48 – €4,757.41) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for broadcasting staff.
