Here's what you'll be doing:

• Staying up to date on current events to stay in the loop on the week’s hottest topics;
• Approaching and selecting guests and conducting preliminary interviews;
• Research and editorial preparations for the roundtable discussions;
• Thoroughly and carefully develop interviews and topics for the script.

This is you:

• Knowledgeable and passionate about current social issues, with a particular focus on inclusion and new perspectives;
• A driving force during editorial meetings who, through enthusiasm, journalistic vision, creative ideas, and critical questions, brings out the best in themselves and their colleagues;
• Familiar with and passionate about the behind-the-scenes dynamics of a television talk show;
• We’re ready and willing to work on *De Sociëteit* even outside of office hours: our show is recorded and aired on the weekends.

Here's what we offer:

A contract from August 20 through November 20, 2024, with the possibility of extension. Depending on knowledge and experience, this position is compensated within salary grade G (€3,118.48 – €4,757.41) of the broadcasting collective bargaining agreement.
